Theodosius, born Sergei Ivanovich Vasnev on January 26, 1961, is a Russian clergyman of the Russian Orthodox Church. He serves as the Metropolitan of Tambov and Rasskazov. After his education at various theological institutions, including studies in Czechoslovakia, he was ordained a monk in 1987 and later became a hierodeacon. Over the years, he has held several positions, including the head of the Russian Spiritual Mission in Jerusalem and was consecrated a bishop in 2002. In 2012, he became a metropolitan, leading the Tambov metropolis.
