Thomas Walter Jennings was an English businessman born on February 28, 1917, who founded the Jennings Organ Company. He established Jennings Musical Instruments (JMI) Ltd in 1950, known for producing the iconic Vox Guitar amplifiers. The company was renamed Jennings Musical Industries Ltd in 1956. Disillusioned with the direction of the company, Jennings left in 1967 to create Jennings Electronic Industries, furthering his contributions to the music and electronics industry before his passing in 1978.
