Tiia Kõnnussaar is an Estonian writer, editor, and publicist, born on April 12, 1965, in Võru. She is a co-founder of the parenting magazine 'Pere ja Kodu' and served as its first editor from 1994 to 2011. From 2015 to 2021, she worked as a columnist-editor at the Ethics Centre of the University of Tartu. Since February 2023, she has been the editor-in-chief of 'Universitas Tartuensis'. Her children's books have been translated into Finnish, Korean, Romanian, Russian, Ukrainian, and Macedonian. She is a member of the Estonian Writers' Union.
