Tobias Smedberg, born in April 1978 in Stockholm, is a Swedish politician and has been a municipal councilor for the Left Party in Uppsala Municipality since 2018. Following the 2022 local elections, he became the first vice-chairman of the municipal executive board. Smedberg oversees social policy, sports issues, national minorities, and housing-related matters. He is also the chairman of the senior citizens' committee and equality council in Uppsala. Prior to full-time politics, he was a consultant and one of the founders of a PR agency in 2007.
