Anthony Joseph Shryane MBE (20 January 1919 – 22 September 2003) was a notable British radio producer with a long career at the BBC, recognized especially for creating and producing The Archers for 28 years, before his retirement in 1979. He also produced several beloved panel games with Edward J. Mason, including Guilty Party, My Word!, and My Music. In 1961, he was honored with the MBE for his contributions to broadcasting and continued to work freelance until 1984, marking fifty years of dedicated service.
