Midge 'Toughie' Brasuhn (1923–1971) was a notable roller derby skater from St Louis, Missouri. Standing at only 4'11", she gained fame in the late 1940s due to a billboard campaign and her aggressive play style. Known for her rivalry with Gerry Murray, she starred in the film Roller Derby Girl and served as captain of the Brooklyn Red Devils. After retiring in 1962, she joined Roller Games briefly before moving to Honolulu, where she passed away unexpectedly.
