Ulrich Förster, also known as Uzzi Förster, was an Austrian jazz musician born on March 2, 1930, in Vienna. He was a multi-talented individual influenced by Dadaism, engaging in various professions including acrobat, welder, publican, antique dealer, painter, and was a key figure in Viennese Actionism. He was the younger brother of physicist Heinz von Foerster, who emigrated to the USA. Förster's diverse talents made him a significant cultural presence in Austria until his death on June 22, 1995, in the same city.
