Upendra Mishra (February 18, 1917 - January 2, 2012) was an Odia writer and educator born in Bajapur, Khurda district. He began his career as a cooperative teacher at Kendrapada Balia Elementary Training School. In 1947, he joined Puri Samanta Chandrasekhar College as a lecturer. He was known for his scholarly pursuits and contributions to Odia literature. Mishra passed away at the age of 94 on January 2, 2012, in Puri.
