V. S. Sunil Kumar, born on May 30, 1967, is an Indian politician who served as the Minister for Agriculture in Kerala. He was elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly from Kaipamangalam in 2011 and from Thrissur in 2016. A member of the Communist Party of India, his political journey began with the All India Students' Federation during his high school years. An alumnus of Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur, he holds an LL.B from the Kerala Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, and served as the National Secretary of AISF in 1998.
