Vasily Sondykov (born January 9, 1945) is a Soviet and Russian statesman and political figure. He served as a representative of the Duma of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra in the Federation Council from 2015 to 2016. Sondykov was also the chairman of the Duma of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra's sixth convocation. He holds a doctorate in political science and is a professor.
