Vasily Vasilyevich Vorobyov, born on May 11, 1946, in Hydrotorf, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, is a Soviet and Russian military financier and colonel-general. He served as the head of the Central Financial Department of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR from 1991 to 1992, and later as the head of the Main Department of Military Budget and Financing of the Ministry of Defense of Russia from 1992 to 1995.
