Vernon Ross is an Archdeacon of Westmorland and Furness since 2017. He was educated at Portsmouth Polytechnic and Trinity College, Bristol, and was ordained in 1991. His early ministry included a curacy in Fareham, followed by roles as Priest in Charge at Witheridge and Team Rector of Barnstaple from 2000 to 2008. He later served as Vicar of The Fyfield Benefice and as Mission and Ministry Advisor for the Barking Episcopal Area until 2015. Prior to his current role, he was also an Assistant Area Dean.
