He emigrated to Chile, directing the magazine El Peneca, before returning to Europe, where he collaborated with English publishers. Known for creating characters like Haxtur, he had significant ties to Asturian comics and participated in various comic conventions. His later work included the series Tex and the album Aliot with Alejandro Jodorowsky. He received the Gran Premio at the 2006 Barcelona International Comic Salon.
