Viktor Valeryanovich Abramov (December 25, 1925 – September 25, 1998) was a Georgian engineer and a prominent academic. He held a Doctor of Technical Sciences degree (1961) and became a professor in 1963. Abramov was a participant in World War II and graduated from the Tbilisi Polytechnic Institute in 1949. His career included work at the Gorky Metallurgical Plant and the Gorky Polytechnic Institute. He served as head of the Department of Material Resistance at Zaporizhzhia Technical University from 1962 to 1993 and continued as a professor after that.
