Born on January 12, 1923, in Klavže, he joined the national liberation struggle in 1941, serving in various partisan units. After World War II, he held several commands in the Yugoslav military, culminating in his retirement in 1978 with the rank of major general. He was notably involved in the establishment of the national defense corps in Yugoslavia.
