Vladimir Fedorovich Susloparov (born February 13, 1946) is a Soviet and Russian firearms designer, known for developing original systems of small-caliber sporting firearms for biathlon competitions. He is considered one of the founders of this field in the former USSR. As of February 2014, he serves as the head of the department for sports and hunting weapons at the Izhmash design and manufacturing center. Additionally, he is a staff weapons specialist for the Russian national biathlon team. Susloparov has participated in creating 17 inventions with certificates and 9 inventions with RF patents.
