He gained fame as a regular reporter on the KBC TV information program 'Asadesu. Kyushu & Yamaguchi' until March 2006. Later, he worked at Oita Asahi Broadcasting as a reporter and was the main personality of 'JOKER DX' from April 2014 to February 2021. In April 2021, he successfully ran as an independent candidate for Saiki City Council, receiving the highest votes in the election's history.
