Alhaji Yushau Mohammed Anka was a Nigerian senator who represented the Zamfara West constituency from May 1999 to May 2007. He was a member of the People's Democratic Party and was later associated with the All Nigeria People's Party. During his tenure, he participated in various committees, including Ethics and Foreign Affairs. He contested for the Zamfara State governorship in 1999 but was unsuccessful. Anka was critical of governmental poverty alleviation efforts and opposed constitutional amendments that would allow President Obasanjo to seek a third term.
