Zbigniew Matula, also known by the pseudonym 'Radomyśl', was a Polish military officer born on February 26, 1917, in Radomyśl. He served as a second lieutenant in the Home Army (Armia Krajowa) and commanded an independent platoon in the 'Barbara' battalion of the 16th Infantry Regiment. Matula participated in partisan warfare in the Ciężkowice Foothills and lost his life in action on October 31, 1944, while covering the retreat of his unit.
