Zdeněk Chlopčík is a Czech dancer born on January 29, 1957, in Ostrava. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Vysoká škola báňská in Ostrava and worked as a designer at Vítkovice. In 1990, he founded the private dance school Elán. Chlopčík won national championships in Latin American and ten dances and ended his active career in 1996. From 2006 to 2023, he was a judge on the Czech version of 'Dancing with the Stars', called StarDance. He is married twice and has three children.
