Zdeno Zibrín was a Czechoslovak climber and sports master known for being the first Czechoslovakians to ascend the north faces of the Grandes Jorasses (1959), Matterhorn, and Eiger (1961) alongside Radovan Kuchař. Initially starting as a skier, he became a Slovak champion in giant slalom before an injury ended his skiing career. He graduated in chemistry from a university in Bratislava in 1957 and later worked as a meteorologist. His wife, Olina Zibrínová, was also a climber and sports master.
