Robert Glasgow (1942–2023) was an American Democratic politician from Texas who served in the Texas Senate. A lawyer by training, he is known for sponsoring a drug law that made laboratory glassware purchases illegal without permits, leading to a 1994 Ig Nobel Prize. He held the position of President Pro Tem of the Senate and acted as Governor of Texas on multiple occasions. A graduate of Tarleton State University and the University of Texas School of Law, he was also a dedicated Freemason.
