Didier Leschi is a French senior civil servant, born on April 5, 1959, in Paris. He specializes in issues related to religion and secularism. Since 2015, he has been the Director General of the French Office for Immigration and Integration, and since 2018, he has served as the President of the Institute for the Study of Religions and Secularism. Previously, he was an extreme left activist and worked in several ministerial offices, notably under Jean-Pierre Chevènement.
