Eric Biwa is a former Namibian politician born on May 8, 1953, in Vaalgras, South West Africa. He was a key fighter in the People's Liberation Army of Namibia during the Namibian liberation struggle and was imprisoned in Angola during the 1970s as a suspected spy. Biwa founded the Patriotic Unity Movement in July 1989 and later became a member of the United Democratic Front of Namibia. He served in the Namibian Constituent Assembly and was a member of the National Assembly from 1990 to 2003.
