Erik Lovko was a Slovenian visual artist born on May 21, 1953, in Postojna and passed away on August 8, 2009. He began his education at an art academy in Venice but later transferred to the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, graduating in 1976. He also completed further studies in sculpture back in Slovenia. After his studies, he worked as a freelance artist before becoming an art education professor at the School Center Postojna. His artistic work included sculpture, painting, graphics, illustration, and caricature.
