Ferdinand Schreiner was a Yugoslav industrialist born on February 25, 1901, in Zagreb. He was the eldest child of Armin and Roza Schreiner and had seven siblings. He served as the main director of the ceramics factory 'Zagorka d.d.' before World War II. In 1941, during the Holocaust, his family faced severe persecution; Ferdinand was eventually arrested and deported to Auschwitz, where he was killed. Only his son Paul and brother Leo survived the Holocaust.
