Ishwari Prasad Gupta (1931–2018) was an Indian administrative officer of the 1958 IAS batch. He held various significant positions including Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Chief Secretary of Tripura, Hill Commissioner of Manipur, and Lt Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He served as the state election commissioner for several Union territories and was a member of the Central Administrative Tribunal. Gupta was honored by the Prime Minister of Bangladesh in 2012 for his contributions during the Liberation War. He also published articles on administrative and regional issues.
