Juntarō Kamahora was a Japanese pathologist, born on February 23, 1911, in Osaka. He graduated from Osaka Imperial University in 1936 and served as an army physician during World War II. He became a lecturer and later a professor at Osaka University's Medical School. As the university's 9th president from 1969 to 1975, he dealt with student protests while promoting reforms. He received several awards for his contributions to science and passed away on April 13, 1977. He authored notable works, including 'The Story of Cancer' in 1963.
