Karin Büttner-Janz, born on February 17, 1952, is a German physician and former gymnast. She won gold medals in artistic gymnastics at the Olympic Games representing East Germany. From 1990 to 2012, she served as a chief physician at clinics in Berlin, Germany. In addition to her medical career, she founded Spinefoundation, an organization focused on spinal health.
