Lea Boston, born Lea Tiikmaa on February 17, 1929, in Tartu, was an Estonian medical scientist and pediatrician. She studied medicine at Tartu State University, graduating in 1953. Boston worked in various capacities within the medical field, including as a senior laboratory assistant and professor. Notably, she became the first post-war professor of pediatrics in Estonia, specializing in vitaminology and gastroenterology. She contributed significantly to the research of vitamin B group metabolism and the vitamin C deficiency in children. She was named professor emerita in 1994.
