Masashi Shimizu (February 12, 1901 - December 24, 1994) was a prominent Japanese businessman who played a significant role in the development of the Hankyu Corporation and Toho Co., Ltd. He served as the first president of Hankyu Department Store after its independence in 1947 and later became the chairman. Known for his leadership, he is also recognized for his time as president and chairman of Toho, where he contributed to the company's growth and reputation in the film industry. Shimizu was well-respected and influential in the business community until his passing at the age of 93.
