Miquel Gayolà i Gardella was a Spanish metalworker, union leader, and politician from Girona, born on February 28, 1901. He became involved with the anarcho-syndicalist CNT after moving to Barcelona in 1919. Upon returning to Girona, he co-founded the BOC and led the workers' union federation. He played a crucial role in the anti-fascist fight during the Spanish Civil War and served as a commissioner on the Aragon Front. After the war, he was exiled to France, where he continued his work until returning to Girona in 1981. He contributed to several publications related to the workers' movement.
