She graduated from the National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television of Ukraine and worked as an actress at the Kyiv Youth Theatre. Since 1976, she served as a researcher at the M. V. Lysenko Memorial House Museum and later became the head of the Mykola Lysenko Museum. An educator at the Kyiv Institute of Music, she authored over 60 publications and compiled notable music editions focused on the works of Ukrainian composer Mykola Lysenko.
