Fyodor Fyodorovich Khimusin was a Soviet scientist and metallurgist, born in 1903 and passing away in 1986. He earned his Doctor of Technical Sciences degree in 1963 and became a professor in 1965. Khimusin was a laureate of the State Prize of the USSR and was a pioneer in the development and implementation of stainless and acid-resistant steels, as well as heat-resistant alloys for highly loaded and high-temperature components in aviation gas turbine engines.
