Vasily Prokofievich Lyubin (January 13, 1918 - June 14, 2018) was a Soviet and Russian archaeologist and Doctor of Historical Sciences. He is noted for discovering and studying the Kudara cave sites in South Ossetia, where he collected thousands of unique artifacts, many of which are housed in the Hermitage Museum. Lyubin was regarded as the oldest working archaeologist in the world, returning from his last expedition in the summer of 2016.
