Walentin Wasiljewicz Chasapow was a Russian emigration activist born on January 23, 1918, in Odessa. His family fled Russia in 1919 and settled in Czechoslovakia. After completing his education, he joined the National Alliance of Working (NTS) in 1938. During World War II, he became the head of the city administration in Bryansk after moving from occupied Smolensk. He was involved in illegal underground activities on behalf of NTS before emigrating to Argentina after the war.
