He was a prominent figure in the establishment of a spiritual community called 'Cidade Eclética' located 50 kilometers from Brasília, housing around 300 people. Known for his advocacy of Spiritism and Esperanto, he published a newspaper named 'O Nosso'. His followers believed him to be the reincarnation of John the Baptist. Yokaanam's life spanned from February 23, 1911, to April 21, 1986, leaving a legacy as a spiritual leader.
