I’m Gemini 32 years old she’s Aquarius 29 years old and we’ve known each other for years (12 actually).
Been attracted to her for about 9 years, but I finally acted on my attraction last November, 2016. We had a period where we lost contact (several years actually), but she hit me up over Facebook one evening and we met up. She said that she had missed me and she wanted to see me.
We went to dinner several times, and a movie, before I acted on my attraction. After everything that I’ve read about Aquarius after she froze up, I’ve come to the conclusion that she wanted it as bad as I did, but she didn’t stick to the typical behavior of an Aquarius, which would be that long term courting. Since, we’ve been out many times to movies, dinner, but I had to reel the affection back in. Though I do continue to spoil her and her 8 year old son with gifts (always random and unexpected), I still don’t know where I stand long term-wise.

I actually took her and her son out for Mothers Day yesterday, and we all have a great time. I kinda waited till the end of the night, and brought up that I hope she didn’t mind me giving her and her son gifts (example, yesterday for Mother’s Day, I had 50 red roses and a pair of purple and green earrings for her, and her son, I had a box of Lego Minecraft Legos in the backseat of my car waiting for him when we went out…). I told her that there was no other motive, just me wanting to do something nice for the two of them, especially since I don’t think any of her exes never really took her son into consideration. I used that as a doorway to talk about other stuff; such as reassuring her that I’m not pressuring her, but I still have pretty strong feelings for her.
I reassured her that I support her in her wanting to get things in her life in order, and if she ever decided that she didn’t want to be nothing more than friends (honestly, I was really trying to give her an out of she really was looking for one), that all she had to do was to let me know, whenever she finally figured out what and where she wanted to be, in which she pretty much repeated that she has no idea at the moment. I get it; having to deal with the abuse from that jerk would give anyone the desire and need to reevaluate their lives.

Okay, yeah. Thanks. In the grand scheme of things, she wouldn’t have nothing to need much more reassurance now…. she knows where I stand as of last Friday. We persay; weren’t actually dating-dating; we were taking it slow, as per her suggestion, as she got out of a bad abusive relationship last year (I agreed, though I will admit, it was hard to reel in at times, lol).
But yeah, here’s what happened. To make a long story short; she was looking to buy her son a day-bed from off of a Facebook yardsale group. She asked me if she and I could use my truck to go pick it up. Before we even could get it that afternoon when I got to her house, she found out that the vendor sold it. That upset her.
So, what did I do? I spent the next two weeks, looking around myself. Found the same one, only better on eBay. Purchased it and surprised her with it. Had it shipped to her house. We had agreed that I would come over on her day off and put it together for her son (ironically enough, her day off was also the day if arrived by the mail service).
Now, the day prior, she had a crummy day at work. It carried over to the next day, her day off. She used her day off to take care of all she had to do, bills, everything. I got to her place when I got off work and saw that she was in a mood. I gave her her space and we decided that I would come back another afternoon to put it together, that following Wednesday, two days later. Now is here where I messed up…….
I texted her on Wednesday afternoon when I got off work. Turns out, her schedule changed and she was now working that afternoon. I told her, okay, always at her convenience. She sent me back a rather, run-on text, that I will admit. I misinterpreted as pretty much, try again on Thursday. So Thursday afternoon after work, I hit up her up, and I got a pretty sharp, nasty retort back, about how she told me that they changed her schedule and she’ll get back to me when she’s available.
Very first I’ve every gotten from her. So I was like, “okay, her week has not gotten any better. I will just let her be. I texted back, okay, hey sorry, I misinterpreted your text from yesterday. Have an smooth night at work. (she’s a chef, btw).
Three days pass and I don’t make contact, nor does she. I give her, her space. That Sunday is my birthday, so I kinda expect her to call or text (I’m not that big on my birthday. Never really celebrated it growing up and all), but she never did. I knew she had to work, so at first it didn’t bother/register to me, but when several of our mutual friends hit me up over Facebook telling me Happy B-Day, and I saw her green on Facebook during her break, well, it kinda stung. But I didn’t text or call. I waited till the next day to hit her up to basically check in on her and her son and continue giving her, her space.
No reply back.
Okay. So, now I’m like in, ‘wait, what did I do’ mode? She couldn’t be possibly upset that I misinterpreted a text right? One that I even apologized for, right? So I decided to just keep giving her space and spent what little free time I had from my own job looking up Aquarius traits on the net, ‘what does it mean when an Aquarius woman ignores you?’

I didn’t expect that I could possibly annoy her with so little. All I can think of, is that, on top of all that I have done to show her of my affection for her and her son. So, I get it. I do. Apparently, I musta stressed her, on top of already mounting stress from work (or whatever issues) in regards to me getting her text backwards about the day-bed put together. She’s pretty much ignored me since May 24, my birthday the 28, to now. And after my confessional letter-text, which I ended that I “know its a lot to absorb, so I probably wont hear from you for a while, so you and your son be easy,” it’s probably gonna be a good minute before I do hear from her.
What more can I do I guess during this period of letting her have her cooling off period/space? I mean, other than not calling, texting, or even showing my face. Do I just go dark? I know she checks my SnapChat ( all I ever do on that is post goofy pics of my cats and take quick pics my gym stats from the treadmill when I get done running… so I know she is checking in on me… that or just being nosy…).

I waited a day, hit her best friend up and asked her friend to relay a message saying, “okay, I guess I get the hint, I’ll back off and let you handle you. Take care of yourself and the lil guy; if you need me you know where I’m at at and how to get in touch with me.”
After everything she’s been through I dare not go to her home or job. Those are her safe places, I’m not going to violate those places.
I’m at a loss at what to do. With no information to go on, I’m starting to lose a lil sleep now. I still want to give her all the space in the world to handle whatever she needs to do, but this is so delicate, bringing in the situation if her ex’s abusive behavior to her and her son. That and this new fear that I may have been playey, though like I said, that’s not like her at all.
Times like this, sucks to be a Gemini. I’ve done ran over every scenerio I can think of, and each possibility makes me feel worse since I cannot get no information, and her friend is not talking either (nor do I expect her friend to, after all, that’s her friend….).
Cut her loose. If she wanted to be with you she would. Walk away from her and force her to check herself as she thinks this behavior is acceptable by you. Don’t let it be. If she wants you and wants something real, make her give it to you. She knows what she wants and if it isn’t you, look for your own.

She is enjoying the positive attention she is getting from you and doesn’t want it to ever go away. So by not entering into a relationship (keeping it simple/ you never really having to live with her faults or whatever she thinks are her faults, you’ll always have this desire to be with her. Aquarius woman here! I’ve been on both ends of this kind of thing- feeling obsessive about someone who didn’t return my interest, and being the object of someone’s obsession. I’m going to be honest, if she’s blocked you on anything, she’s not interested. I hate to be this blunt but I’ve had to learn this lesson too- unfortunately, just because you give someone time and effort (and in this case money) it doesn’t mean they owe you anything in return. People can’t control their emotions or desires but they CAN control their actions. I had a guy spend all his time with me, say he was in love with me and then ghost me- sometimes for us air signs (and for people in general) the experience of the chase, lack of closure and being unsure can get us HOOKED. But that doesn’t mean it’s meant to be- closure is nice but we aren’t owed it. We don’t know what’s going on in someone’s life and no matter how much we gave of ourselves to them they don’t owe it back, although it’s good to have an outlet for our own emotions in this situation, separate from the person. Give them space and don’t expect them to return, they in all likelihood will not, do not wait for them, move on with your life and take care of yourself.

Every now and then she mentions how I am a great man and she appreciates my friendship. On my recent birthday (June 8th) she stated that I make a big difference in her life. Understanding that she is always busy I noticed that she is a bit more distant now. After all this time interacting I am wondering if I bothering her? I have asked her but she said no. We ended up moving in together about 6 months into our relationship and thats when we began to have problems. I think because it was our first time on our own it was stressful. I noticed that he was always so concerned with money and being able to have fun. I started to lose interest and i really dont know why i did. I moved out and then moved back in lol he was already hooking back up with his ex but she had a bf (she was a geminilady too) *ugh* so when he told me he would stop seeing her we decided to stay together and never broke up again till the last time we did. He was very loyal the times that we were together but if we ever got in a fight i would leave for a couple days to my fams house and by the time i came back he was already talking to another one of his exs haha so what does that show you… well the relationship was definitely a turbulent one that left a lot of scars in my heart and body. As an Aquarius its not easy for me to hold grudges and i forgive everyone for the wrongs that they do. I became i completely different person with him, more emotional and needy for his love. I would tell him that he doesnt love me the same as back when we first me and he would say that it wasnt true. He had the worst time at dealing with his emotions and also had a very strong dependency on MJ. Im not typically an emotional person but when it came to the last year of our relationship i was such a weak little girl again. He wanted a baby with me and i wasnt ready. after i had an abortion i could tell he looked at me differently but i was just doing us both a favor. He hated to see me cry and would tell me not to but i would only cry because i felt i couldnt get my love through to him and i felt that he was losing love for me everyday (which now i know he was) I couldnt find a job in 2010 and he hated that i would just sit at home all day. I would clean the house and he would come home late everyday after having a few drinks. I became jealous that he didnt want to spend anymore time with me and i only got to see him when he already had a few drinks almost every day. He didnt want to tell me to leave but finally he did and i didnt want to. I was heartbroken. I moved out and he stopped talking to me. Then after a while he let me come and see him more and more (at least once a week for a couple days) that lasted for 6 more months then the last time i saw him i was already getting sick of going there and he was trying to tell me that he wanted to date other people AND me TOO! haha i was like NO WAY! Who do you think i am! ive been with you for almost 5 years and i just will not share you. that was when he became emotional (would cry) and he knew he had to chose and it wasnt going to be me… I dont blame him though because we were so young when we met and he just wanted to explore life. I left but he wouldnt hug or kiss me goodbye so i told him “this is going to be last time you see me” and he though i was full of it!
I went to my car cried and drove home and was fine once i got there. I got a new bf not to long after which was short lived but did get calls from the ex. (I NEVER CALLED HIM) he would say he misses me and i would be like yea i know duh! He told me he had a gf and i didnt feel jealous at all… He was such a child and since him i have met so many more MEN that take life way more seriously and can have fun too! i am getting to explore life now the way he wanted to and of course he is still in a relationship. He cant be alone and always needs something to stimulate his mind or body. He was selfish and although he didnt lie he would omit things. (with my Aquarius intuition i could ALWAYS tell when something was up) He didnt like being confronted and would get angry vey easily at the smallest things (eg: the can opener not working right). He was a VERY sexual person and I am not so much so i know that pist him off. I might have been if he had put more effort in the whole communication thing which he didnt so i didnt, but when we did it WAS magic. His good points were his confidence (although i know he had hidden insecurities) how well he spoke (very smart) how friendly he was with new people (we could meet people at the same time) when one of his personalities was in a good mood it was a great mood! he would joke about EVERYTHING (i eventually stopped laughing though and after thought i shouldnt have stopped since i loved him so much) I had to really leave him alone when he was upset because he didnt want to deal with anything and especially not interacting with someone else. he was intense and aggressive sometime in the way he talked and acted but it was pretty sexy to me. after that last time we spoke I left him alone for about 3-4 months before he started trying to talk to me again. I told him that i dont feel comfortable that he has a gf and that he should be faithful. He tells me that he still loves me and that we were best friends and he wants to see me! I know that it is not a good idea and i am actually not really willing to so i keep telling him that im busy and i cant, which is actually true. I tried to go without answering his text but he just keeps texting and then calling then calling the next morning. i tell him i cant see him and wont through text then he just says things to me to make me want to see him! so manipulative! *ugh* well i miss him a lot but know that in the end we parted ways for the best for both of us and that we can always be friends i know he loves me and that he wont ever be with anyone like me and i him (especially since i make it a point to very rarely interact with Gemini men at least in any way that might show im interested) He will be the last Gemini i ever date! they can be crazzzy even more than us Aquarius woman (they are reckless and dont care about peoples feelings unless it will directly benefit him)
