After a still birth over 16 years ago my wife was clear she no longer wanted to be romantically “pestered” so no kisses since, her two subsequent pregnancies where from in vitro, after the first live birth when I went back to work since I had a 4AM wake up time (long commute and early starts as a construction worker) I started to sleep on the couch before work days so my alarm clock didn’t disturb her and she could get some extra precious sleep, but we still shared a bed on weekends, eventually she said I snored and “moved too much” that was the end of that, I slept on the couch for years. As long as it was just the couch I had hope we’d reunite, but then she decided that I should be in a separate bedroom and more of my delusions of hope were shattered.
As for boundaries she’s pretty clear that she doesn’t welcome my touch much but I still kiss her on the side of her head most days when I come home from work, frankly without that I’m not much interested in living, I need that much to keep pretending.

Hi James, I read your comment 2years back and it shook me to my core. Im q sag women inlove with with cancer man. I can relate to your wife. I think everything would have went the same way if I had not read your comment. In the beginning I told my cancerian bf not to get me flowers,i mean why get me something that will die or is dead already,at the end of the day I don’t want to have to throw it away.i left him to figure it out ,I knew exactly what I wanted but I just wanted him to figure it out. Lol this man bought me metal roses that these craftsmen make on the side of the road. His explanation ;it will live forever. I am a Sag woman in a very volatile relationship with a cancer man. We are both free. Our definition of free is being ourselves which makes us both genuine. I am the sag and I have traveled a lifetime of travels. You should never confess total surrender to a man that you are new with. Often their insecurity pushes them away especially if you display too much confidence. Always play it more cool. Dont over think it just go with the flow n be you. Stay loyal and be patient cancer men are introverts us as sags are extroverts. We say what were thinking and how we feel they do to but at a minimum.so everything ur thinking is over thinking it trust i know im married to one so just go with the flow. The problem I have in trying to help here is believe it or not – im a INCREDIBLY talkative cancer male! Which I find is honestly uncommon in many cancers.
I definitely think you both need to make the effort to bridge that gap between you both in communication! If you truly voice to him HOW his lack of communication makes you feel and he really cares, (which id be almost shocked if he didn’t considering we tend to understand how horrible stuff like that is – Cancers = Emotions,) then he should really make an effort.

Its crazy to think that the girl I’ve loved all this time, even after distancing myself from her for weak reasons, (backwards reasons to avoid getting attached and losing her like another before her,) is still the apple of my eye.

Why do I love my sagittarius female?: apart from the fact her fiery and often go lucky nature compliment mine, I feel we have a delicate bond which it seems she only portrays And always has done with me! Forever and always was our thing as teenagers whe we first dated which I blindly adopted to other relationships without even considering the history and origin of WHY I say that. It was selfish, but even still, she forgave me, for every wrong her; the biggest being leaving her alone out of fear of becoming attached to the point where losing her would make me lose myself.
It hasn’t all been candy and roses however, we have had disputes and her stubbornness clashes with mine, difference being with most people, they focus on the negative of these arguments – myself included in every other relationship. What makes this special for me between me and the sagittarius female I love is the ability we have to låugh together and have endless fun even at our darkest times.
She sees me for me, too my surprise, she has massively complimented me on being amazing, genuine and very rare in this world and in honesty, despite having a weak sense of self-worth, compliments from her specifically help to build me up, because if she thinks it? Then it’s true.

Sorry, but I am a cancer man. We keep some things to ourself then get a gut full and get crabby. When I was younger (I am 37), I did not understand relationships and when my wife did not want to discuss things or was silent in arguments it did make me angry, I never hit her and she would try to get me angry enough any man would want to. Although I did not want to hurt her physically, I said things that would cut to the core. Things I said were true but said the wrong way. I am older and understand “life” more now. She has “passed away”, I should have not been like a father, but I felt that was my only option. She was a aries which is I think it says on here that is not a good mix.
I think that the base for a cancer man is there but how they act and who they are are influenced by how each man was raised, who they have as friends, etc. If you are taught to be a jerk, you will be a jerk. If you are a bad person, you will not be sweet and kind like a true cancer.

I am a sag women with my moon in cancer and my cancer fiance has his moon is sag. His complexity, sensitivity, unpredictability at times, loving nature, out of this world awesome sex drive and sexuality, intelligence and family values to name but a few characteristics absolutely fascinate me. I could never tire of being with a person like him. Being a sag woman I can get very bored exceptionally quickly and once that happens in a relationship thats it – forget it – its dead. If I lose interest in someone its written all over my face, I can’t hide it at all.
The interesting thing in my relationship is that due to my age (I am older than he is) I cannot be bothered to suffer poor behaviour, so when it happens e.g. he is being lazy or a bit selfish I tell him out right – hey you don’t even try that shit with me – and he totally respects me for it. You need to be a very feminine woman, but with enough balls not to be a doormat. Some women who are aware of their sensitivity can take that a bit too far and be afraid to offend them, but Cancer can loose respect for you if you aren’t strong so it is a delicate balance of protecting their feelings and boosting their confidence and showing them love, but calling them out on behaviour that isn’t nice when it happens. I can see in my partner that if I was a soft touch he would let me have periods of doing more than my fare share as virtually every man would. He tells me if I am not being nice also and its good that this works both ways and beign a sag I always hold my hands up to that kind of thing and apologise.
Although I am a strong person and verbalise what I feel as I do not keep things inside, he is so relentlessly alpha male he can argue with a temper and passion that resembles a volcano. It can be a tiny bit scary at times the sheer level of his anger while knowing that I am safe and that he would never lay a hand on me. Its what a sag woman needs to know – that the man is the leader, BUT without being bossy (I HATE BEING BOSSED AROUND!) and stronger while letting us be strong also. One thing I will say though – no matter how angry he gets, he never swears at me or says anything mean or offensive which is personal or directed at my character. Even in his immense anger he is a gentleman. He has never once called me a bad name and I respect him for that because I work by different rules.
Being a sag, if I am in an argument I don’t give a damn, Im going to say whatever it takes to get my arrow in your weak spot and get you where it hurts. Make sure that you explain this to your Cancer man. I have warned my fiance about this and it has really helped, because he knows my nature and that I do not mean to hurt his feelings, its just my way of expressing myself and doing battle. Talk about everything with him. I don’t do it in a careless impulsive way – I think about words before I say them (Im not my Aires mother who blurts things out thank God). I am aware that I can really hurt him a lot, more than he can hurt me, so I say something thats bitchy, but makes him think. You can’t be too nice all the time, that will drive a cancer man mad – he doesn’t want someone who is one dimensional always agreeing with him and hanging on his every word and worshiping him for the sake of it, because he knows that is not real.
I am a very laid back sag, more chilled in nature than he is, but when I get really angry and it goes on too long I get exhausted by it and love him so much I just feel sad and start crying, but as soon as I do his heart melts. He always comes to me, holds me and cannot bear to witness me upset. Then Ill want to be on my own so Ill go in the bathroom or something and he’ll come looking for me and be genuinely sorry and make ammends. I can see he is hurt by seeing me hurt. We make up and make love and he’ll want to cook something together and we feel closer for having been honest and try to avoid the same behaviour the next time. If you try to always learn from your arguments to improve things then thats positive. It eventually reduces conflict and increases understanding.
He needs to see your pain because he appreciates the confirmation that you care, but also the tears he can relate to because he is so sensitive himself and will cry and knows what it is like to feel things so deeply. He silently lets a tear run down his face hoping I won’t notice when we watch something touching on tv or in a film. I have told him “Baby I LOVE that about you soooo much” It is the sexiest thing ever when a very manly man does that only in your presence. I find it adorable. Other men are aware of his presence and know not to mess with him.
His Mum who I adore is sensitive and so am I and if your are not that kind of woman there is no way he will trust you. By the way, if you don’t get along with his Mum or are like his mum GIVE UP THE RELATIONSHIP NOW !
We sag cancer combinations seem to be a paradox of not liking confrontation and being sensitive, but being warriors when our fires are stoked. I only every wanted all or nothing love and to be competely and utterly intertwined with my partner. I love the fact we act like kids and mess around together. Everytime we go somewhere it is like going on an adventure whether we are going to the supermarket, cinema or for dinner and I feel safe wherever we go. He appreciates my little feminine ways – like the way I say or do things or look and when I make him laugh I can see how happy it makes him. I can see how he loves to laugh as much as I do. If you don’t have a sense of humour that will also be a major disadvantage.
I can be a complex woman at times and I can be away in the clouds thinking about something – usually music of something colourful or beuatiful and he always picks up on those moments and asks me what I am thinking about. He really notices when my attention is elsewhere, but because he knows its about something usually artistic I think he also appreciates that as he is creative and musical also. Positive thinking that we saggies are so good at is a brilliant support mechanism I think for our Cancer men.
A boring woman, one without opinions, knowledge and intelligence will not do. A woman who does not want children and is not natural around them will not even be considered (I had 2 before we met). Our relationship has challenged me because I have issues of trust and my independence is strong. I have learnt that it is a hinderence to a point with us because he wants to look after me. Due to my past I never had that experience before where men really took care of me and treated me fairly and I have learnt to survive on my own. Now I know that I need to let go a bit and trust him. I will always keep my indepence in terms of my spirit and be true to myself. I know he loves me for that. I love and respect him for being that way too.

Sag, women here, just wanted to add my two cents, I’ve been with a cancer man for five years 7months, and 25 days, it was the most amazing 11months of my 40 yrs on the planet, he was the greatest adventure I’ve ever jumped head first in to. Down the rabbit hole, in Alice and wonderland. I love him and hate him so equally now, I can’t seem to shake my self clear, he was beautiful, and the most thrilling lover in the beginning. But, we are a dangerous mixture. He’s a liar, secretive, selfish, user, that always say the lies are for my own good.. I allowed myself to be a doormat, and have tired to rid my heart of him for years… He’s all the worst a cancer , can be, no offence to the well adjusted cancers. My advice, none of us is perfect, by far, but if you know your heading in to a relationship with a wounded cancer, run away. You will want to heal, and love them back to health, but it will drain your life, or ruin it….

I met this guy 7 months ago. I’m a Sag, he’s a Cancer. Shortly after we started dating, he stopped working and applied for disability due to constant pain he has from a serious accident he had a couple of yrs ago. I really liked this guy because he was a homebody and seemed to have the stability I was looking for. I’m 34, he just turned 40. Soon after, he started asking for gas money which bothered me, but I would only give him small amounts like $10 or $15. Every time we did something, it was on my dime, he never asked to do things, but was always game. He would constantly ask me for money for things like doctor’s visits and miscellaneous incidentals. The more I cared for him, the less I would mind. I always seemed to know his whereabouts and had no reason to think otherwise. We spent lots of time together and seemed to fall for each other quickly. Besides shelter and clothing, I was basically supporting him and was ok doing so. Around month 3, he revealed to that he had a decent amount of 401k he would be borrowing from. It upset me because I’m thinking he’s broke and he had money the whole time that he said he didn’t want to touch..wtf?!! I’m a single mom of a teenager and make under 40k /yr. Supposedly, he applies for a loan from his 401k for abt 8k and says he would pay me back for everything. Weeks later, he tells me there are warrants for his arrest and he needed 1500.00 or was going to jail. He said he was going to lay low until he got the money somehow. He told me he would be with his cousin. I wasn’t going to allow him to move in with me and my child. Come to find out, he was really living with another woman in a nearby city. I confronted him there. She kicked him out immediately and told me everything (sister power!!!). I was shocked and hurt to say the least. I found all of this out on 4th of July (gives new meaning to Independence Day). I ended it right away. He didn’t run after me apologizing like one would expect. He avoided me. I tried getting closure but he refused to give me any. His birthday was 7/12 and he had the audacity to leave me a angry voicemail saying how bad I made him feel for not calling him on his special day…wtf???! We ended up communicating again and he said he was embarrassed and ashamed of what he did and wanted to be with me but he wouldn’t talk about things in the way I needed him to. He just didn’t seem remorseful and sorry in the way he should have. His excuse? He has alot on his plate. My gut said to test him so I did. Yesterday, I created a phone # thru Google Voice and started texting him and sure enough, he failed…miserably. I confronted him and he lied saying someone must have had his phone. He must have realized how stupid he sounded and just gave up on the lie and literally RAN into his house. Haven’t heard from him. I DON’T want him back, I just want a genuine apology and explanation but I know I will never get it. How do you hurt someone who has been nothing but good to you? The most hurtful thing is we actually seemed to have a friendship, not just a relationship and he could still do this to me. I feel horrible and like the dumbest person ever. I’ve spent about $1500 on a loser and have nothing to show for it. Glad it ended when it did. I don’t know if it’s all Cancer men, but this is the 2nd experience I’ve had with one..and the worse. This guy is a user, liar and manipulator. I sure hope karma is the big b***h everyone describes her to be.
I’m a sagg woman who has been dating a cancer man for five years. Although we have lived together for these past five years, I still use the word “dating” because I now see his fear of commitment. We were dating for almost 2 months, and things went banana after that. Gradually, she start to use offensive words “F*** off, F*** U, what A male B****”, although, I never sworn at her even with a joke or use such language with her, I asked her kindly not to use those words around me, as rudeness can drag the angry Leo side out of me! We were joking once, as I was tickling her, she threatened me that “seriously, if a knife was beside me I would of stabbed me because you tackled me so much and I hate it” I was shocked of what she said, weeks later she said that was a joke!! Well, after nearly 2 months, she dumped me! And I admittly I loved her, she told me in the face that she dose not love me. I was so clear at the beginning that when I love I love like no others and will expose my heart for you and I trust you, so don’t abuse that … but she did in a big time! At some point, she told me” I know you pisses you off and make you angry, and I see how you are good at capturing your anger, why cant you show it to me as if you would for a guy” I explained to her I don’t like that its most powerful when you know that are cabaple of harm and you let go, and that’s what I have learnt an applied when I served in the Army and wars. I added, A man not buy his roaring voice or showing muscles or even kick someone, a real man counts by his dignity, patience, caring, sacrifices he makes and anger management”, She claimed that the reason for a breakup, that she very honest and she is not worth my love, and she knows that’s she fed up of torturing me. They always says that Sagittarius are optimistic, but she was not she was always complaining and not happy, and she even complained that I am super optimistic, altruist and trying to make everyone’s happy including herself. I am in love with a Cancer Man, but for my emotions, dignity and psyche, I am giving him up. Sure, it was fantastic for the first 6 mos. when we were having an affair. Which, by the way, I didn’t intend on doing, but I got so caught up in his attentions and allowed his manipulations. After a family tragedy and a few weeks to deal with that, I was available, but he was only “half-heartedly” there. He told me he loved me and I was the BEST women he’d ever had, while at the same time he was seeing and sleeping with an old girlfriend. Both of us for 6 months. During which time he was VERY moody and in and out of our relationship. I didn’t get it until I caught him… He told me he got rid of her cuz he didn’t want to lose me. Still says I was the Best Women he ever had. Now, 1 1/2 years later, more MOODY times, so I think there are other women. I just think he stayed with me for beer, cigs, clothing, going for beers, rides, and good loving “all the time!!!” I agree They ARE User’s and Liar’s. He lived with his Brother, His Brother is a Cancer too. He is sleeping with 4 women at the same time, and I don’t think they know about eachother… I met all of them during my 1 1/2 years with my Lying Lover Cancer Man. He had to keep up with his brother, so I’m sure his cheating never stopped. I was the fool for love and sex… Make sure he’s got a car, license, a decent job/decent $$$ and that you are both true to eachother or playing the field at the same time. I hope I have learned about being used from this relationship. He bruised my heart…. No more tears!!! He is out of my life, LUCKY ME!!!

For example I have had a birthday cake made for me (Food is awesome especially if you are good at it home cooked foods are amazing!) I have had a song requested for me…That one pulled some tears out of me and I try my damnedest not to cry but they were tears of happiness! I had a big ass personalized card that a girlfriend had left in my trunk saying she loved me. I am sag woman with cancer man. He is everything great you can think of. We are like two sides of the same person. He thinks the same things as me andwe complete each others thoughts and sentences. He is not over protective, selfish, or moody. I was in a relationship prior to him in which I was cheated on and this is and has been the only issue between us. My inability to trust fully and his inability to not go to his man cave when I question our relationship (what we are where we are going). My inquisitveness and eventual demanding for emotional attachment and answers pushes him away and he stays away. We do not fight like others about trivial things. We do not fight at all. We discuss then text discuss. We are friends built on that foundation. But….. although I read the cancer man loves the family, i feel that we both came from long term relationships that ended badly and I believe even tho he loves me…. it will never be more than that. He wants me to be available for him at all levels but not want to be pinned down in same breath. He knew in beginning what i wanted.. what I wanted to build and the time has come to talk about it… 3 years. He wants me but don’t want me at the same time. He loves me and don’t want anyone else but wants his space but also have me available when he wants me. I have decided that if we continue…. I will give him his half time… but it will be true half time, not his conception of half time. Or it will be over and I will no longer give him all I am, all I do, and think of us as “us”.

And yes, it is important for us cancer guys to have someone who won’t run away in the middle of a storm. Funny thing is…even though I wouldn’t want to be with someone like that I don’t blame her for it (that song ‘Love the Way You Lie’ and Part 2 seem written for a sag girl and cancer boy, no?

Well, the sag girl I was with never forgave my mistakes and I never understood why. She acts as if I’ve purposefully killed her dog, even though I’ve apologized a thousand times. Friends tell me she trash talks about what happened to us. I’m over it, I just wanted us to end on a friendly note. It’s probably the biggest blow I’ve taken both to my pride and my ego, because I really liked her and tried to give her my best.
Anyway, if money is so important to a sag girl then she understimated me, because I am very ambitious and quickly get up when I fall. Since then I’ve found another job in a different city. I will be paid three times what I got paid at my last job so what I lost in material I will make up and more. However, this time I’m giving my all to the scorpio girl I’m with right now.
I realize I carry half the blame of why things didn’t work out, but we all make mistakes right? I really did want it to work. I am also, however, glad I got out in time. Like you said – dodget a bullet.

Daniel and mk, i read wat u have written and i would like to throw some light on ur situation…i have a sag girl, she loves me alot and i too love her alot. but u have to understand in order to be with her u have to have money in order to support her spending spree…her anger and risk taking attitude will drive u up the wall, not only that the worse part about them is that when the going gets tough they run like the wind…they just wanna drop wat they are holding and run. they will blame u for all the things that have gone wrong, but later after they have cooled off they will realize there mistake and come back and say sorry, but it will be too late.

we differ in the spending part and also differ in how to handle things or situations. the people she trust are the ones who stabb her in the back and even if u warn her, she will go and get hurt anyways. in time u will stop bothering and the relationship goes cold!

Same thing here, Daniel. I’m a cancer man and me and my sag girlfriend were together for a couple of months. It was great, I was absolutely OK and even supportive with her fiery attitude. To me she was a gentle intelligent angel and a freaky monkey both at the same time. But when I got in a “rutt” like you did, she dumped me. I lost not only my job, but my apartment and my car. And it seems I’m out of her life for good. Is that a coincidence? I too still have feelings for her. And it’s because I see the good in her, I see beyond her badass attitude. My advice is – get on with your life. Just like me you will probably never forget that little devil. But there are better things, things really worth fighting for. It’s called a Scorpio woman ;).

My situation is quite different. About a year ago i started seeing the cancer male. He told me from the beginning that he has two small childern, but he mentioned a girlfriend.
