My Aquarius is younger than me by 7 yrs. Idk for her but for me it was more of seeing if he would stand the rest of time and be around. I met my aqua man online and it did take us a while to open up and get to know each other. He did figure out that i am guarded and have serious trust issues but he kept trying over and over again until i gave in.
Anyways we met, we are trying the whole long distance relationship (he lives in a different state). We have talked about our future together etc, i told him I’m okay with moving for him. He seemed genuine at first and really loved the idea of me moving there. We both want something long term with each other, we both are open to the idea of settling down with each other in the future.
The problem for me is that he told me i will need to get my own place when i move there (so i can have my own place and space) At least initially. That made me angry (because I’d be moving so we can be together) and it changed my entire perception of what things might be like once i move there for him.
(My perception was created based off of the things he kept saying to me, like, “we are made for each other”, “we are meant to end up together”).
Being a cap, i obviously need some sort of commitment from him before i move (not marriage, just moving in together). And i have tried to communicate and tell him what i want and what i expect, but he doesn’t seem to get it, he is sure that living apart in the beginning is the best option (maybe it is but I’m not willing to move to a different state, where i don’t know anyone, just for a man, to pursue a relationship that may or may not work).
Soooo i have decided to end it all because the entire “getting my own place” suggestion seems too dodgy, especially if i consider how he led me to believe that things will play out differently.

Advice from an aquarium male–you need to capture his attention and make sure to keep it focused on you. Challenge his curious mind and teach him new things in bed. The more intriguing you can make yourself to him the more attracted he’ll be towards you. Warning though, once you’ve got his intrigue you must keep him in that state or else he’ll get bored and look for new things to satiate his constantly curious mind body and soul at least that’s the way I feel and act all the time and it’s really bad for relationships with signs that are really home centerered and like stability and repitition in their lives. How true and on point is this analysis?! I’ve read all the other compatability matches for Cap woman (except libra and Aries, don’t bother) and I find this one to be the most accurate. Aquarius men are insanely attracted to us Caps. Since elementary school, I’ve always found myself attracting Aquarian admirers. But they aren’t like other men in that they truly are interested in our thought process. Aqua men love thinking, and calculating, and they’re forever thinking of the future. To make a long story short we left our then S.O.’s soon after that and have been together ever since!! From reading alot of this comments I’ve seen to relate to acouple of them. I, too, am a Cappy Woman involved with a Aqua man. We met for the first time at a hangout. Since then we have got together but broke up once. Now we’re just working out on things. I really think we have a strong connection. He makes me feel wanted and appreciated while I make him feel that he can trust me and not question my loyalty. He is a Feb. Aqua & I’m a Dec. Cap. I do get irritated by his mood swings sometimes but I get over it quickly. I am convinced that these two signs can be amazingly compatible. Am a Dec Cap in love with this feb Aqua guy.. we were in a relationship many yrs back for sometime…but I ended it . It was a terrible blow for me as he had hidden the fact that he was divorced before (in 2 yrs he cudnt come up and say that to me). @JGordon it is VERY difficult when you have the same group of friends. The fact that he is friends with your boyfriend is probably another factor as to why he is reluctant to give you a response. Would you break up with your boyfriend to date the aquarius? If your boyfriend found out that you have feelings for the aquarius would you care? He very well may be your soul mate, but just take your time and see what happens. He will get back to you when he feels the time is right. It may not be anytime soon, considering that he is aware that you have a boyfriend. Have faith and you wil be united with your soul mate. I would say start developing a solid friendship with the aquarius first.

I am also a capricorn dating an aquarian. Well, more like FWB. He has told me loves me, several times, and I beleive he does, but it has not prompted him to start a consistent relationship with me. Something about needing to finish to complete a work goal and not feeling financially stable. It is very frustrating, but because I’m in love and he does seems sincerely smitten when he’s with me, I stay open to the possibility that it just might develop into something. From all I’ve read on aquarians, when there emotions get too intense they need lots of space to process. Strong emotions can make them feel unbalanced and they feel take them aware from other endeavors, so they pull away. If this is true, I sure hope with time it will be easier for him to stay closer to me on a more consistent basis.
